The brief
Sorrel and Sage is a new tearoom and art gallery at Trumpet, near Ledbury in Herefordshire. Helen and Hannah got in touch after meeting Molly at a local business event. They knew they had a great product, great service and strong branding, but felt they needed professional images to match, and to help them stand out. They asked for photographs of their food, the tearooms and gallery, and the team.

The approach
We started with a conversation about what mattered most and how the images would be used, then shaped a focused shoot around it: hero food photography, inviting shots of the tearoom and gallery, and natural portraits of the team that feel authentic and welcoming.
To keep disruption to a minimum we worked in the quiet hour before the morning rush, on a Friday in late March, photographing everything in natural light as the tearooms set up for the day.
The outcome
Sorrel and Sage received a complete, edited library of images, each supplied in two versions: web-ready for their website and social media, and high resolution for print. Helen’s first reaction on seeing the gallery: “There are some really lovely shots!” The full set was signed off with no changes needed.
